Some of the listeners would be surprised to hear that many of the songs on this album were written years ago while I was in high school.

For example the title track "Remember This" was written during my Senior year of high school. I remember I had the main idea (the beginning) written a couple years prior, a riff that I loved to play on repeat every time I sat down at the piano. I remember working on the idea to see if I can make anything happen, which to my disappointment nothing would occur. Until the idea came to me to try and piece together 3 ideas that I had already created.

Those ideas eventually meshed together to the song you hear today. Never in my wildest dreams would this song become the one which I'm known for across the country.

I had the opportunity to work with a friend of mine, providing songs for memorial videos. I sent him Remember This and Close to Home. I knew nothing of their presence in videos until I attended a funeral of one of my family members that I heard my songs on the memorial video playing during the service. It was then that I learned my song had been used by many videos.

I'm so glad this song has found a life of its own and it provides the peace intended to families across the country.
